Raising money for the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), a record number of entrants signed up to take part in this year’s Ecover Blue Mile, which saw almost 300 people swim, kayak and stand-up paddle (SUP) the one mile course in Plymouth, England.

With a strong trailing wind courtesy of the remnants of Hurricane Sandy, Terenzo Bozzone built a strong lead over Jan Van Burkel, who beat Bozzone at Ironman 70.3 Ireland just a few short months ago. For Bozzone, it was a well-deserved win after weeks of hard training. Next up, Ironman 70.3 Taiwan.
