Aqua Sphere is the name behind the world's most innovative award winning goggles and masks and is currently the fastest growing brand in UK swimming, providing everything a swimmer needs from caps to swimwear to wet suits. The new partnership will see Aqua Sphere supply 1200 branded swim caps as well as assorted winners' prizes and adds to Aqua Sphere's strategic list of high quality event partnerships for 2010.

2010.08 | Aqua Sphere Announces "The Swim Challenge" - A Men vs. Women Duel Where Cancer is the Only Loser
Beginning April 1 through November 30, swimmers of all abilities can sign-up and sign on to www.swimchallenge.org each day to log their hours (not their laps) in the water. The Swim Challenge website will track the total time, men vs. women, via a “leader meter” posted on the website and created as a widget so that competitors can keep tabs on their counterparts. The site will also allow swimmers to individually track their personal progress in the pool, encouraging them to swim longer each day. A $35,000 donation will be split between the Prostate Cancer Foundation (men) and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (women); allocations will be determined by the cumulative hours swum by each gender.

Over eight thousand people attended the inaugural Blue Mile - Race for the Environment, which started at the historical Mayflower steps, Plymouth’s most famous landmark. The event saw over 641 people take to the water to swim, paddle and walk for the environment during the weekend, including a host of celebrities. Official Swim Partner Aqua Sphere was delighted to support the event and it has made a successful addition to Aqua Sphere's strategic list of high quality event partnerships for 2010.
