The 18 strong team took to the lake on 25th September, each swimming the lake's length of 10.5 miles from Waterhead Beach at Ambleside in the north to Fell Foot National Trust Park in the south. With an average water temperature of 14 degrees, the swimmers took between 5 and 9 hours to complete the swim.

"Aqua Sphere's Pursuit wetsuit is extremely warm and comfortable. Similarly, the Vista goggles provide a secure fit and first-rate visibility with no fogging. Wearing this gear for 10.5 miles with no adverse affect is testimony to their product quality." - Steve Fitzjohn, Diving Standards Inspector of Fleet Diving Headquarters
