Aqua Sphere Supports Great North Swim
Innovative swim brand Aqua Sphere is proud to support the Great North Swim, the inaugural one mile open water swim event which takes place on England’s largest natural lake, Windermere, on 13th September 2008

UK - The first ever mass participation open water swim event of this kind in the UK, over 2200 swimmers of all abilities, from elite champions to club competitors to fun swimmers, are taking up the challenge to finish a specially designed one-mile course.

The event organizers, Nova International, are the name behind the legendary Bupa Great North Run, the world’s largest half marathon, and they aim to repeat the success of this event with the Great North Swim and create the largest lake swim in Europe. Participants include GB’s most decorated male swimmer and eight times World Record Holder, Mark Foster, who was Team GB’s flag bearer at the Olympics Games opening ceremony in Bejing.

Aqua Sphere is donating a series of spot prizes from its award winning portfolio of swimming goggles, bags, towels and accessories and is donating a generous 20% discount voucher to every participant.
