Aqua Sphere sponsored triathlete, Catriona Morrison, is enjoying a great season. Last weekend this leading Scottish athlete from Broxburn Scotland finished top woman of the day and third overall at the Portobello Autumn Aquathlon Championships, adding to her list of outstanding results this season.
She writes :
"It was a misty day and the swim was nearly cancelled. When the mist cleared it was still quite dark but I was lucky to have the choice of amber lenses in my Kaiman goggles, supplied by Aqua Sphere, which really helped me spot the buoys."
"I was 3rd woman out the water, close behind junior international Kirsty McWilliam and international open water swimmer Carol Thain. An out-and-back 5k meant that I could see all athletes on the way round and I was able to run through the field (mostly of men!). I was delighted to finish top woman of the day and 3rd overall!"
Catriona is now the Scottish Standard Champion, Scottish Sprint Champion, Scottish Duathlon Champion and Scottish Aquathlon Champion.
