 Aqua Sphere is proud to sponsor a unique father/daughter triathlon duo who have both qualified to compete in the Nissan Xterra Off Road Triathlon in Maui, Hawaii on October 29th 2006.
British Champion in his age group (he is currently 69) for tri, middle, standard and sprint, and Xterra British Champion in his age group, Peter Norman completed his first triathlon in 1992 and his first Ironman in 1995. He has since qualified for the Hawaii Ironman twice and his aim next year (in the 70+ age group) is to qualify for both the Xterra and the Ironman races in Hawaii which will take place one week apart.
Both Peter and his daughter Kim are members of Wrecsam Tri Club. Kim competed in her first triathlon in 1996 and has been competing locally ever since. She was placed second in her age group in the UK qualifying Xterra race held in South Wales and is very much looking forward to competing alongside her father for the first time in Hawaii this October.
Triathletes are all too aware that the right kit is critical to performance and Peter has chosen Aqua Sphere’s Seal mask since he started competing, preferring its unique 180 degree wide angle visibility and comfortable leak resistant seal over other aquatic protection.
